Small Island Massive: The StanMan & DJ SoSo HD

The StanMan and DJ SoSo HD have experience in music that spans over 10 years. The duo became friends in 2002 after realizing that they both shared a passion and mission for spreading music from the Caribbean and beyond. Since then, they have flooded the streets and airways with their unique sound and music selections being known as having “the small island massive style” – a sound that is rare nowadays.

Their motto of “More than 4” has been the slogan of those who strive for unity by highlighting distinct melodies of all islands. In the words of The StanMan himself, “We don’t just play music from the big islands like Trinidad and Jamaica, but we also play music from St. Kitts, Dominica, Anguilla,St. Maarten, Antigua, St. Eustatius, the Virgin Islands, and more. You name it,we got it!”

DJ SoSo HD, born in Antigua but raised in St. Croix, is a mic man who could get any crowd hype with his energy and stamina. While TheStanMan, with his vast library of music and mixing skills, hails from St.Maarten by way of Guadeloupe. Together, they have built a worldwide social network of artists and fans alike. Their knowledge of Soca, Kompa, Bachata, Bouyon, Benna, Zouk, Calypso, Reggae, Dancehall,Disco, Soul, Top 40, String Band music, and Jab Jab music has led to their undeniable popularity with fans across the world.
